Unfortunately I don't think I ever have, only because I fall asleep too easily! But last night I did stay up way past my usual bedtime to finish tagged book!

Just finished this book in half a day, couldn't put it down. Fiona is awakened by a call from Italy that her father passed and she has to be there for the reading of the will. Except she never met her real father. Her mother only told her when she was dying and promised Fiona to never tell the father who raised her. This was a great read. 5☆

Pretty sure if I wasn't already going to Italy in September I would have booked a trip after reading this! The description of the wineries in Tuscany were amazing!

Wrapped this one up over lunch. It‘s a delightful tale about family, love and life choices. Descriptions of Tuscany and Italian food were spot on and I loved Fiona‘s character. All the different POVs were done skillfully and it wasn‘t too hard to follow along. A nice easy summer read!

Okay, I‘m selling everything and moving to Tuscany. I devoured this one, in only 2 days. My heart aches for Lilian and Anton, I can‘t imagine that kind of tragedy and that kind of sacrifice. I love Fiona‘s choices and the heart she has for herself and others. What a mesmerizing story. Book #35 in 2022

I really enjoyed this book! It transported me to the hills of Tuscany and a winery. The setting definitely increased my enjoyment! Fiona‘s mother tells her a secret on her deathbed-her Dad is not her biological father. Years later, when her biological father dies, she travels to Italy for the reading of his will. The story shifts back and forth between present day and the summer that her mother spent in Tuscany. Excellent summer read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

This was amazing. One of those novels when you finish reading sit and hold the book taking it all in slowly like excellent aged wine. Oh I loved this historical romance novel. My favorite romance this year. The words and feelings from each character linger in my mind. Beautifully written. I'm sure this one will be a movie. The novel reads from a few main characters that change between timeframes of 2017 and 1986. #BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks

Checking out Kindle First Read books for May & had an immediate feeling I had read this book. Nope, it‘s just the cover is VERY MUCH like The Lost Vintage by Ann Mah that I did a book tour for in 2018. Both set in vineyards in Europe (Tuscany for TTV & Burgundy for TLV) with the past woven into the present & covers with peachy-orange sunrises (or sunsets?) & thin white borders/filigree corners.🧐

In Tuscany, an epic love story took place during one glorious summer. In this story, purpose and destiny collided with a once in a lifetime passionate love between two souls who experienced the very deepest of connections. Lies, secrets, guilt and forced promises tangled the vines of a mother, a father or two and a daughter. I really enjoyed this book. The storyline and the characters will stay with me for a long time.
