This was a decent short-story; however, I've never been a huge fan of Poe (not sure why; I love Gothic literature and Victorian writing)... Regardless, I'm getting quite excited for the autumn season, so this was a nice story to start getting me more into the mood for autumn & Halloween! 🎃👻☻

dawn-pInk I never liked Poe, but it took me googling some academic articles when I got older that pointed out to me the sexism and racism in his works and suddenly it clicked. 6y

As someone who is just starting to get into romance based novels, I'm glad everyone on Goodreads recommended this one to me! The wholesome romance was refreshing and made for a light read.

Love and Gelato is a lovely YA novel filled with realistic situations and characters, and of course, yummy gelato.🍨
