If y‘all haven‘t explored the world of Natasha Pulley yet, I highly encourage you to do so! The Watchmaker of Filigree Street is an excellent debut novel, with Bedlam Stacks in the same universe but with different plot lines. This novel continues with Mori and Thaniel, and I am recommending it to everyone I meet right now. :) Cute puppy photo just for attention grabbing. ;)

Still working my way through this series. I feel like the first one started out fun, and by book 4, it‘s a little cliche and tired. I like McCaffery, but meh.

I‘m feeling quite Belle-like this morning. Got my rose nails and my “nose stuck in a book”. ;) Thoroughly enjoying this read.

I wouldn‘t say this was the best written book and I‘m not usually keen on such an overt religious allusion, but I did enjoy the fusion of Old and New gods.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first book, The Alchemist‘s Daughter, and book 2 did not disappoint. With another round of creative famous character melding and some heavy character development, the plot line still moved along nicely.

With this title, I was expecting a light, fluffy book that didn‘t need thinking. Nope. Heavy stuff, right here. Makes you reflect on how you‘re living life.

Ah, Hemingway. How right you are! And how sad that it takes wine to realize this in life sometimes.
