I seriously loved this book. It's been a long time since a book has captured my imagination in this way
The writing is smooth and lyrical and the story has an unfamiliar familiarity.
I can't wait for her next book.
Highly recommended!

This book was a creeper. I was just dawdling through it not paying much attention until all of a sudden I was flipping the last page and 4 hours had gone past without me noticing. The story grabbed me unknowingly.

American Gods to read
I am happy now
I do a lot of reading in airport lounges. Just started this one. Incredibly atmospheric. Anyone else enjoyed it?
Took awhile to feel ready to read the fourth and last book in the series, I found myself really not liking the characters much by the end of the third book even though it was still as well written as the others. Book four ended the series in a satisfying way despite still leaving some questions, the biggest for me what happened to the lost child. I see why Elena Ferrante gets the accolades, she really is a wonderful writer.
A small book with a small plot but despite that it was enjoyable.
Book two with a beer.
Reading My Brilliant Friend in the airport lounge, while I'm not heading to Italy, it doesn't matter, this book makes me feel like I'm already there.
My first thought after finishing this book? What else has she written. I have no greater compliment.
