Dog got a hold of the cover. :/ I just hope he loved it as much as I have been!

Post-Thanksgiving morning cure: coffee and a book I can't put down!
Loved the #iowacitybookfestival, watch out for Nathan Hill! Both he and Maksik were fantastic. Perks of living in a UNESCO City of Literature.
Perfect weather to set the hammock up and finally crack open Middlesex.
Not sure why I've always loved post-apocalyptic novels so much, but this is ALMOST as good as The Road (which is hard to beat). I love how she gradually revealed how all the characters' lives intersect. Pick it up!
Packing for vacation. What to bring, what to bring. Recommendations?
Anyone else read this? I could not put it down. So fascinating and heart breaking at the same time, of a doctor becoming the patient. The kind you can't stop thinking about after you finish.
Sometimes short stories are just the ticket. Love these so far.
This book changed me. It was eye opening and epic. Not being old enough to have lived during this time period myself, I had heard the stories and knew it was bad. But this takes it to another level. And I saw the author speak--so much respect for her.
This has pulled me in. A million years in the future, about today.
