Ugh, so frustrating. Loved this book all the way through and then it ended without answering all the questions. Hate books that leave you wondering.

Edit: actually, the more I think about it, the more I realise that the answers were there all along, they were just all well hidden. On reflection, pretty clever book, I'll be thinking about that one for a while. Dark and twisty for sure

1. And then there were none, 2. Paperback in preference but been solely using Kindle app for last 6 months because of ease with baby, 3. Assigned as in, at school? If so, as much as I loved it, I never finished Great Expectations. But Wolf Hall is the one book I've tried several times and have decided never to bother with again. #weekendreads

A very tense and suspenseful read. Had me totally on edge for most of it, not knowing what was going on behind the blindfold. Interested to watch the film; I can't imagine how they could manage to create that kind of tension through a visual media. Bit disappointed with the end though. Had me gripped all the way through and then BAM, it was finished. Very impressive overall though.

Brilliantly done. Very cleverly written and had me guessing all the way.

Really enjoyed it to start with but got bored a bit in the middle. But the moment Michael took up the story I was hauled back in again. Absolutely heartbreaking, it literally made my chest ache.
