I devoured this book.

It is insane how easy Susan‘s roadmap to building our constellations is. We are doing many leg work already but might need a little direction or some polish. Susan teaches a “How can I help?” method, and it is foolproof. I am so excited to take these tools into my next networking event.

This book is incredible. The characters, what they represent, the writing- it is all absolutely powerful. This is a must-read. Natalie Walton fearlessly tackles a difficult subject, and she handles it with grace and dignity.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was a pretty decent book. A tad slow to get going, but it picked up a bit. The narrative kind of drones on a bit, but it‘s a good plot. The descriptions of surroundings are so well done, you‘ll feel like you‘re there.

Norah has an impressive growth throughout this book. Her journey is worth the read.

Beautifully written, dynamically put together, and a truly wonderful story. Alessandra Torre writes about very heavy and hard topics with such a delicate touch, but she gives the respect to those who deserve it. I absolutely recommend this book. This is my first Alessandra Torre novel, and I can assure you that it will not be my last.

I loved the cultural influences throughout this story, the wedding details were my favorite. I also love the strong women Beena writes. The fact that (minor spoiler) a strong female ends up being the attending surgeon for Kabir was pleasantly refreshing. The growth the character take in this book is pretty fantastic. Their journey is so much bolder and more realistic this time. And I very much enjoyed Kabir‘s story.

This was heavy. And incredibly sad. I was fairly knowledgeable able this case, having followed it during the trial and watch documentaries about it. But reading the details of what Chris Watts did to him pregnant wife and daughters... wow. That man is a cold blooded monster.

I was disappointed in this text. The author is very long-winded and prone to stating things with no source, and she also plagiarized passages from Anne K. Howard‘s His Garden, which is problematic. It‘s not really worth reading.

Perfect Getaway | Kiersten Modglin

I enjoyed getting to know these characters and seeing the dynamic of the couples. I have to admit, Natasha and Jaren were my favorite couple... and I was hoping this trip would be the thing necessary to close their broken marriage. They were both the calmest, cool, rational, and honestly, the most likable couple. They were the only couple who didn't have deadly secrets or a dirty past that could potentially come crashing down like a tidal wave.

Oh man. I don‘t even know where to begin to unpack this book. It‘s the ultimate game of clue- winner takes all. In a oddly structured, blended family, the death of the patriarch leaves both sadness, and a bizarre will, behind.

This is a fast paced storyline, and the way the story is woven and the way the crumb trail is dangled leaves you thinking you‘ve solved the case at least five times before the lightbulb comes on. Chouinard executes her twists brilliantly. It‘s like she knows just how to dangle the truth in front of our faces without letting us actually figure anything out.

Angila‘s story is so well told in this book. The author did absolute justice to Anglia and her family with how thorough this book was written. The detail that went into every paragraph, and the care and concern to deliver the facts without inserting fluff or opinion was diligently executed.

Something I appreciate about Beena‘s writing is how heavily influenced it is by her culture. As someone who is not familiar with Southeast Asian culture, it is an educational moment to read about the practices and traditions being upheld. Beena does a beautiful job of showing respect and honor to her culture and the other cultures and writes about.

Folsom | Tarryn Fisher, Willow Aster
Pickpick

This book is so well written.

This is a totally different level of strength from Tarryn Fisher. While she is know for writing brilliantly strong female characters, some of that ability is shined upon the male characters. The characters within this story are so dynamic and so well written. There is a vulnerability beyond the obvious, and there is a power hidden among the shadows.

I enjoyed this novel. It is well written, clearly developed, and terrifyingly addictive. In a modern-day nod to “Rosemary‘s Baby,” you will not be able to read this book fast enough. Your heart will race, your anticipation will spike, and you will be scared.

Welcome to the Bartholomew, where residents move in... and never move out.
