⭐️ This is the worst book I‘ve read this year. Time loops are very hard on paper but these characters were so one dimensional I don‘t think even the silver screen could save it.

1. Remote cabin - as long as there is electricity, books and tea, oh and I can take my fur babies 🐶
2. Read the tagged book last year and loved it.
I'm posting the #BookScavengerHunt prompts in order & today is 'Knitwear'.
Thankfully Litsy is now working for me again today, I read this one for the first time last year for #WinterGames &, even though I'm not a romance reader, I quite enjoyed it.

Who doesn't love a good Groundhog day trope?!
Again, romance not generally my thing but I love Christmas! And maybe I'm “softening up“ as of late.
But in any case, this was fun!
I‘ll be discussing this one with my daughter when I see her Friday. I love that she asks me to buddy read with her. This was a reread for me but the first read for her. I can‘t wait to hear her thoughts.

?4️⃣☃️It was a rough December & I've never felt less "Christmasy". I needed this book for its' cozy, easy reading & happy ending. A Groundhog Day time loop set in Park City, UT-one of my favorite places, so I loved this. The romance was friends to lovers & it delivered. It felt real, it was flirty & fun to read. Snowy winter fun, board games, the hilarity (sometimes uneasiness) of the time loop, sneaking around romance & family tradition.✨️
‘One Christmas wish, two brothers, and a lifetime of hope are on the line..‘
This was my second time reading this. The perfect book to end December with.

Now, I think it's fair to say that I'm not a reader of rom-coms so I approached this one with a bit of trepidation. I am surprised by just how much I enjoyed this. I think the time loop premise helped, but it also had some funny moments & some rather steamy ones. (continued)

I usually have at least one #HolidayRomance on my December TBR but since I don‘t this year so here‘s a dozen I have read & enjoyed over the past few years. ❄️💙❄️
The tagged was a cute holiday season read. And it gave me my first Bingo for #wintergames #brightcolddays
#USS #UglySweaterSquad
#WinterGamesPhotoChallenge #Day7 #Lights This was my #WinterGames team group read a few years ago & I very much enjoyed it. Surprisingly. I‘m not much for romcoms but this had that touch of magic & was quite funny. #TeamEvergreen 6pts
For the #wintergamesphotochallenge today we‘ve got a book with Christmas lights on the cover!
#wintergames #snowangels @Clwojick @StayCurious
Starting this for my August #tbrdeckofcards as I have hit a wall with my Rushdie for #authoramonth (Midnight‘s Children). Will resume Rushdie after a brief holiday break. I could use some Christmas temperatures!
This was a great little holiday romance book with a little bit of a Groundhogs Day redo moments. Great feel good book.
Okay, this was freaking cute. Just the right kind of Christmas, feel good and holly jolly vibes one needs. Just enough “groundhog‘s day” where you aren‘t over the restart, family and relatable life drama with romance, naturally.
TIL that Patti Murin narrates audiobooks. Whaaa 😍Interesting take on a holiday romance with the time jumping aspect. I do feel like that component of the story was a little unresolved. I kept bracing myself for another jump that never happened. Also I felt the relationship moved too quickly at the end of the book. Not trying to damper a HEA but damn 😆 overall it was an enjoyable read and I liked getting to know these characters. #WinterReadathon
A book on my TBR list with Christmas lights.

Two books down and they covered a lot of spots in #holidayromancebingo but no bingo yet! Moving on to book # 3, A Royal Christmas Fairy Tale.

I wanted to read a book about the holidays, and one of my least favorite genres is romance. Needless to say, this book wasn‘t for me. I guess that just about sums it up. If you like romance novels, this book might be for you. I found it disappointing.
Not a crazy long list, but my list for #winterreadathon @Andrew65 @DieAReader @GHABI4ROSES
I'm still new to litsy but I'm excited to explore some new challenges this coming year!
Another holiday hold is ready to read just in time for #holidayromancebingo !!! I'm not a big audiobook person, but the wait is so long on some of these books that I'll take what I can get. #holidaybooks #tistheseason
@Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Thank you so, so much, my friend! It got here just in time for me to pack it for my work trip to Toronto! You‘re the best!!
Here's my late #WondrousWednesday @Eggs
1. Rosaline Palmer Takes the Cake
2. I have not
3. I've reread In a Holidaze the last two Christmases now, it's very fun. Love me a good time loop plot
1. My Killer Vacation
2. I currently subscribe to FairyLoot which is a fantasy book box and love it! I used to subscribe to Illumicrate, but the shipping from the UK was way too expensive (maybe one day in the future I can resubscribe). I also used to subscribe to BOTM, but I think their quality could use some improvement.
3. I really enjoyed the tagged book.

Wanna play? @Texreader @CurvyCrochetGirl
A read reminiscent of Groundhog Day, Make keeps reliving different moments in her life in this charming read. I enjoyed the popping in and out of different time periods in this book, it was just perfect for this storyline. It was a heartfelt, enjoyable, sweet, lovely holiday story. I especially liked how Mae had to face the consequences of her mistakes, her honest talks with her loved ones were touching and heartwarming. A magical holiday read.
I'm trying to start thinking about my #WinterGames plans because the wait times on books can be so long on Libby. I thought I could go ahead and put myself on some hold lists. I'd love some recommendations for wintery/Christmasy romance novels. I read In a Holidaze and The Twelve Dates of Christmas last year and really enjoyed both of them. I have put Written in the Stars on hold. Any other suggestions?

4✨I struggled figuring out and keeping track of all the characters in the beginning, but got a handle on it. Even though there was a groundhog element it was one of the most realistic romances I‘ve read in a while. I love the way it ended too. Thank you for sharing @DGRachel Read for #LMPBC @Littlewolf1 and @BethM
Watching the Baby Shark movie means I can finish the tagged book! 🤣
I‘m starting to read the tagged book to get closer to my first bingo. I‘m a bit all over the place, but hoping to get 3 bingos this month. 😍 @TheAromaofBooks

This was wonderful. I love Christina Lauren!!
I wish I had a Benny in my life.

Sort of a Christmas Groundhog day - Maelyn has been in love with Andrew Hollis (a family friend's son) since she can remember. When what may be the last year the group spends together at their Christmas cabin retreat goes awry, she finds herself reliving the trip until she can figure out what and who makes her happy. And unlike Groundhog Day, she has to actually deal with the consequences because happy doesn't always mean smooth sailing...
#ItHadToBeYou Groundhog Day
I always think of the movie with Bill Murray, which makes me think of time loops, which makes me think of this book lol
@Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
January 21, 2022 AND JUST LIKE THAT... i finished reading the book!!! Omg It was steamy, suspenseful, and just as I had joped the ending would be. I love the characters Maelyn and Andrew (love birds). I enjoyed reading about their romantic relationship. 5/5
January 20,2022 It has 18 days since my last post. Here is what I will share with you though: I FINISHED TWELVE DATES OF CHRISTMAS AND CHRISTMAS SOPHAHOLIC. I would give Twleve Dates of Christmas a 5/5 and Christmas Shopaholic a 4/5. I am reading my last christmas themed book IN A HOLIDAZE. Not sure what rating I will give it so stay tuned...
This is my first read of Christina Lauren. This is a festive, quirky, romance that has a ‘ground hog day‘ type plot. Meaning, the days repeat themselves and one lucky person, Mae in this case, gets to be driven batty over it.
Likes~
The dialogue - hysterical!
Uncle Benny - he needs his own book
The plot - Ground hog day is hard to do

Soooo I read this in one day. It was such a cute book! I found myself rooting for the main character.
Pairing something light with my big non-fiction chunkster. 😊

I really liked this take on the time loop trope. It was super cute for the holidays. It made me smile and was mostly just a feel good book. The relationships were all so sweet and I loved how this one included the whole family. It felt like a fun Christmas movie and I really enjoyed this book a lot. A bit predictable, but still a great book to read for the holidays!
I‘m not usually huge on romance novels but I really enjoyed this! The characters were great and I could relate a lot to Mae. Particularly the bit where she recognized how doing things for tradition sake isn‘t always the best - that it‘s great to have some spontaneity sometimes too. Such a fun, quick read
