Finished this one last night during some anxiety induced insomnia which I feel is very fitting. It was a fun read and made me laugh and cry for all the best reasons.

The Fifth Heart | Dan Simmons

This is my commute listen. So far I'm a little disappointed and bored with it. I feel like too many liberties are being taken and it needed a good thorough editing again. The concept introduced was quickly abandoned and it's a neat concept!

Pickpick

Just finished listening to this on my commute. It might be one of the few times that I would recommend reading it instead of listening. I think the reveals would've been better had I read it. Still really enjoyable!

I can only take so much whining from rich white kids about how they're rich and white. The 5.5 hr book was too long IMO.

Pickpick

I really enjoyed this book. It was fun and funny and the mystery was detailed enough that I didn't know the ending before the first chapter. Mythology is a bit heavy at times but still fun.

Mel_Howard I 💜💜 this book! It's one of my favorites of his. 8y
Leftoversushi @Mel_Howard I had never read Christopher Moore before but he's definitely gonna be on my radar now! 8y

I'm really enjoying this book. The mystery is revealed so slowly that I haven't figured out the twist yet.

Commute commute commute! I'm so glad I started listening to books on my commute. Makes it seem a little worthwhile and less like a sheep in a herd.

This is my current commute listen! I'm excited because I love Latrec and I love any fictional account of him.

Mehso-so

I have to say I enjoyed this book and wish there was an option between like and so-so. It was very enjoyable but I found one half of the narration to be more enjoyable than the other. Some of the character actions didn't make sense to me. I did still enjoy it, I just didn't love it.

It's been a great bedtime read, the kind where you know you're going to fall asleep so you don't really want something too in depth. Some passages I think need more to them but overall enjoyable.

So far this has been a great commute listen. Almost didn't want to get out of the car when I got to work this morning.

Neverwhere | Neil Gaiman
Pickpick

Absolutely love Gaiman's style. If I could have him write books for me for the rest of my life, I would read them exclusively. It's exactly what I want in my fantasy.
