Had to give my newest doll hair like Fire's. She won't have to keep it covered though.

Mommamanzi I‘m in love. Did you make this?! 6y

I love it when a book captures your attention from the very first sentence. It's like love at first sight 😍. I don't have to work to like it, I don't have to give it five chapters to get good. I just have to relax and read a good book.

So not at all what I expected, but still a good book overall. The pace totally picked up the last 20% of the book, making it easy to finish.

After reading some things on my TBR, I wanted to take a break with a fun YA Fantasy ... When I checked out this audio book it was shelved in the YA Fantasy, but that was a lie.

So far a pretty good read, but nothing like what I hoped. Any YA Fantasy recommendations out there?

Jenryland I'd call that one historical mystery! Have you read the Grisha Trilogy? 8y

Pickpick

Clare does it again - captures my heart in this incredible world of Shadowhunters she has built. Characters and plot are spot on - this book is more "mature" than her previous first books so be prepared ? But Julian ... ?

It was slow to start, although the premise was interesting, the plot dragged. The world-building was only mediocre. Worst of all, the characters had zero emotional depth. I gave it three ⭐️ on Goodreads because it was still interesting, just not a great read.

From #owlcrate and finally getting to it. It took SO LONG for the plot to really get moving ... but it's improving now. #bookworm #flawed #coffee #peacefulbackyard

ExLibris_Kate I agree - it was a bit slow at first 8y
