NOS4R2 | Joe Hill

Pickpick

So, after a long period of ill health :I got back to my Litsy! 😍
To my SHAMEEE; I knew nothing of Joe Hill being Stephen King's son 😬 so thought I'd test the water, and got myself a peek at NOS4R2!
Wow, I was not disappointed!
Loved the main character, living with the damage she has due to her childhood. A lot resonates.
Creepy Mr. Manx will not be forgotten in a hurry, and I'll never look at a Rolls Royce the same way again. 😳 #triggered

Dead Men's Trousers | Irvine Welsh

Mehso-so

While I'm recovering from a flare up of my illness, i thought I'd pick up the next instalment of the #Trainspotting series. I'm Scottish myself, so reading this in east and west coast of Scotland accents. #lol It's always good to hear what the lads from Leith have been up to since the last book, but I'm hoping that after 20 odd years or so, we can lay the boys down and say bye... I reckon it's time #radge

Weaveworld | Clive Barker

Pickpick

Wow! Since I knew that #CliveBarker was the author of the #Hellraiser series in wee book and big screen movies, I genuinely thought that this book would have been all blood, gore and twisted fantasies of some sort... And, its not! Took me by surprise, just how how laid back it is, yet keeping you on your toes and turning those 8306(I'm not kidding!) pages .

RaimeyGallant Great review. :) And welcome to Litsy! #LitsyWelcomeWagon Some of us put together Litsy tips to help new Littens navigate the site. It's the link in my bio on my page in case you need it. Or if you prefer how-to videos, @chelleo just put some together. 6y
Stephthebibliophile I loved Weaveworld; it is probably my favorite Clive Barker book! 6y
