Finally getting around to posting my 2019 books that I read. I can't believe I read 19 books. I have never read this many books in 1 year. I surpassed all my reading goals for 2019. I can't wait to see all the journeys I will go on this year and the stories I'll read.

I will end up coming back to this book. After I started reading it I realized that I am not in the mind set to read this particular book.

I really enjoyed this book, it was kind of predictable where the story was going, but I really liked the read, it kept me engaged.

This book was amazing. Even as someone who isnt married or in a relationship this was a very intresting and eye opening read. I think everyone should read this book. It definitely even helps with figuring out how you yourself feel. Also as someone who was in a relationship with someone who showed me no love language let alone my own I see what people crave and expect from their partners.

Prairiegirl_reading It‘s eye opening for sure. Helped me with my relationship with my mom actually. 4w

I truly enjoyed this read, loved all the jewishness to it (Plus it reminds me how much Hebrew I still remember) It is a wonderfully beautiful book with lots of questions and a whole new meaning of being connected. Becuase in the dark and lonely days there is always something to live for.

Loved this book. Definitely a great read. Some parts we hard to understand, but it is a book that takes you on an in depth look and journey into mental illnesses. I also loved reading a book that takes place in the city I live in, in an area that I adore. It gives me a whole new look into Toronto!

Good read but it took me awhile. The title intrigued me & my love for all things 80s movies. It was definitely interesting. I was over half way through reading when it finally sucked me in. It was hard to read with all the British terms so not knowing terminology & "slang" did take away from the enjoyment. But all in all its a great read about finding yourself, standing up for your self and that first loves might end up being your true love.

I enjoyed this book. It was interesting and it kept me captivated. I loved how the author used a real life event that happened in the world for her backdrop of her novel. It made me see that even when the worst thing can happen to you, you can come out of it and be happy again.

This book really opened my eyes about mental illness and how they connected it to "women". I loved the movie, which made me want to read the book, but now I want to watch the movie because I think now I will have a better understanding of what actually happened.

My goal for this year was to read 12 books - 1 book for each month, and today I met that goal so I have upped my goal to 17 books in the year. I am so proud of myself that I have achived this personal goal for myself. I have always loved reading, since I was a child, but in the last few years I have been lacking, and the last couple of years have been difficult so reading was pushed to the side. Let's see how many more I can read by Dec!

Thanks @Clwojick for the tag!

1. My goal was 12 books in a year but I have already finished it so now its 16 books.
2. Girl, Interrupted
3. I usually don't snack while reading but I do like to drink either coffee or tea.
4. Something comfy to sit on.
5. I definitely mix up the genres. I prefer to hold a book in my hands.
6. @InezRay

I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick read. An interesting story line that got me hooked. Talks about struggles that everyone deals with especially under difficult circumstances. It really showed the Dark Side of people and how they deal with tragedy.

I fell in love with the Fab 5 from the moment I watched their first epsiode, and my love for them has increased with every season. I absoultly loved this book that Tan wrote. I think he is my spirt animal. This book is a great read and I love all the advice and heart warming stories he shares. Plus his love story with his husband is so sweet.

Even though this was a slow read, this book was amazing. The author took her own families history and turned it into a work of fiction. As a granddaughter of holocaust survivors reading that this authors grandmother hid jews in Greece made me love this book even more. There are so many layers to this book, it is so deep. What a beautiful story.

Where you find the character Mick Riva in two universes of Taylor Jenkins Reid. I wonder if they are the same people and she made a little bit of a crossover. #thesevenhusbandsofevelynhugo

Like all of her books before, Seven Husbands moved me like nothing before. It put me in a trance where I couldn't put it down, where there were moments when my heart sped up and tears welled in my eyes. I truly felt I was transported back to old Hollywood and the Glamour that came with it. This book touches on so many important topics that it's a must read, you will finish it completely inspired and in awe.

I pick this book because it has amazingly strong & diverse women. They are all women who are in different stages of their life, and even though some of the women were married it had strong themes about working women in power and specifically working women who are also moms and the bond women share and how women support each other.

I am enjoying this book but there have been a couple of parts that really rubbed me the wrong way. When you marry someone you vow to be exclusive (unless you decied on an open marriage) I feel this is just an excuse she is telling herself to make herself feel better about cheating. This is also a character who is pregnant and ordering wine.

I really enjoyed this book. It was my first Agatha Christie book. Even though at times it was hard to understand because of writing of the different acents, but it deffinitly makes it unique. I love a good mystery. I also loved the ending.

Even though this book has amazing quotes and a great story I couldn't finish reading it. I wasn't excited to pick it up and read it. I also found the transtions very scattered and not very smooth. I loved the movie, which is why I wanted to read this book. Maybe at another time I will be able to get through it.

Wow, I read this book up. I absolutely loved it. As I was reading I had a feeling it was going to end the way it did so it didn't shock me. But I felt a strong connection to this book. Not only because the protagonist's birthday is my own birthday but because the last part of the book takes places in Jerusalem, the city I was born in, in the country I hold near and dear to my heart.
