I lose myself in books, I find myself there, too!

Hercule Poirot, the most famous detective in the world! Give him any case or mystery to solve, he will thwart it by the characteristic application of his 'little grey cells'. Both, Poirot and Hastings are by far the most successful duo! My love for mystery urged me to buy this book and I must admit that I thoroughly enjoyed the short stories. Murders, kidnappings, thefts all solved! Agatha Christie can never go wrong! #mystery

For anyone reading this review and thinking this book 📖 is not for you because you're scared of ghost stories, I can promise you that it's really not scary at all - I would describe it as more of a comedy and a clever sattire! What I am continually impressed by is how modern and fresh Oscar Wilde's prose still sounds. It would be easy to forget it was penned in the late 1800s. I really enjoyed this unusual little book! It's funny, imaginative👍👻

AkashaVampie Have u ever watched the movies? I believe they have remade it a time or 2. 5y
Niki_Agarwal @AkashaVampie Nope.. not yet. Ya, quite many times.. infact it has also been made in french a couple of years ago(2016) 5y

I recently read the book 📖 and watched the movie 🎥 as well. A skilful memory loss thriller! This thriller is atmospheric and suspenseful. Coming to the movie, although various timelines do make it somewhat confusing, plots being disjointed but all the three women hold it all together, especially Emily Blunt for her stunning portrayal of forsakeness!

rwmg Great review (though I still didn't like the book) 5y
Niki_Agarwal @rwmg Thanks! Well it did become predictable during the middle but the style of writing and characters deserve appreciation.😉 5y

"Buddha spent six years meditating on the essence, causes, and cures for human anguish. In the end, he came to the realization that suffering is not caused by ill fortune, by social injustice or by divine whims. Rather suffering is caused by the behavior patterns of one's minds."
