1. Books! Particularly old reading text books.
2. Naked? Are trying to torture me? I have given up fighting with my students and just buy the books with the cardboard printed covers now.
3. Overdrive. I love being able to visit the library from the comfort of my own home (and I don't get the those pesky fines :) )

You may notice that this review comes on the heels of my review of book 1 in this series.

I couldn't stop to go on Litsy, had to know what was going to happen next. The 2nd book is told from the perspective of several of the characters, rather than just the MC of book 1, so the feeling is quite a bit different, but the tension is still well developed.

The only bad part of this book is that the next book doesn't come out until December!

Good news...book 2 is already out! Bad news...book 3 doesn't come out until Dec 11!

I started this book over the weekend. Once I was done with it, I REALLY tried not to immediately pick up the next book, because I knew I'd get nothing else accomplished. That lasted for about an hour.

The characters in the series are multifaceted and keep you guessing. There are enough clues to help you figure things out, but not so many that things get boring.

Got this book off kindle unlimited after seeing a review on Litsy.

2 months for $.99 is my price point 😁 Just remind me to cancel in May!

The first science-type, grown-up book I ever read. It's what came to mind with this list. (Probably should have made this a review...still getting the hang of this.)

One of those books where the author starts with a simple thought and then falls into a rabbit hole. I love them.

RealLifeReading Im a few days late but welcome to Litsy! 6y

If you find yourself wishing for "the good old days" in American politics, this book will show how great they were and how things really don't change.

Secret treaty negotiations, press with a paid point-of-view, enemies kept close, French diplomats run amuck, a power struggle between the President and the House...

Washington's greatest feat may have been keeping the fledgling US out of a war rather than winning one.

RaimeyGallant Nice overview. :) And welcome to Litsy! #LitsyWelcomeWagon Some of us put together Litsy tips to help new Littens navigate the site. It's the link in my bio on my page in case you need it. Or if you prefer how-to videos, @chelleo just put some together. 6y
