I have to admit, I'm a hopeless fan of romance novels. Though I'm also aware that some of them can be way too cheesy! However, this wasn't one of them for me. Through Ahern's writing, I was able to dive into the story and feel the pain, the anger, the happiness the characters were feeling. It was beautifully written, the characters were created with attention to details and originality. Certainly recommend it! #lyrebird #ceceliaahern

Carry On | Rainbow Rowell

I absolutely loved this book! I just didn't want to put it down, especially the parts focused on the relationship between Simon and Baz were amazing! Loved almost all the characters and the funny, even hilarious yet realistic way Rainbow Rowell writes. Recommend it to anyone who'd be interested in an unconventional, clever and 'magickal' story! :) ✨#rainbowrowell #carryon

Letter To My Daughter | Maya Angelou

I haven't read Maya Angelou before but I was wanting to for a long time, and I finally had the chance. Although her writing style didn't attract me, her wisdom and the advice she offers in her short essays, based on her own personal experiences, is valuable and thought provoking. For me it was a quick read offering a lot of food for thought and interesting memories and experiences of Angelou. #mayaangelou #lettertomydaughter

I enjoyed this simple, cute and emotional book. It was a quick read, and I loved how the story progressed. I was able to emphatise especially with Bradley, whose experiences made me remember how deeply getting bullied and excluded can affect you, especially when you're a child. I loved Carla's relationship with Bradley, which was an example of how someone who just listens and believes in you is actually all you need sometimes. Would recommend it🌼

This was my first #Murakami novel, and I gradually fell in love with it -particularly with his straightforward, evocative and original writing style, his weird and perfect sense of humour, and his incredible talent in creating 'flawed', 'real', seemingly ordinary but actually very interesting characters. Reiko was my favourite, yet I was able to find something of myself in most of them. Cant wait to read more of his work!!! 💙 #norwegianwood

swatreads I'm going to start kafka on the shore soon! My first Murakami! Glad to know you're enjoying this! On my tbr! 7y
TheAquariusBookworm @swatreads That one's on my tbr too! I hope you'll enjoy both of them! 😊 7y

I See You | Clare Mackintosh

This was a perfect thriller and I enjoyed reading every single page of it. It was brilliantly structured and written, and I couldn't wait to turn the pages to see what was coming next. I absolutely love books that you can't put down like this one! Is there anyone who recommends Mackintosh's other novel 'I Let You Go'??🙌🏻 #iseeyou #claremackintosh #psychologicalthriller

MrsMegWich I liked I Let You Go even more than this one! 7y
TheAquariusBookworm @MrsMegWich I'll certainly read that one too!! 👌🏻 7y

13 Reasons Why | Jay Asher

Mehso-so

This book seemed promising, but although there were some important points that it touched upon, it became harder to maintain my curiosity for the story after a while. I think that's mainly because of the author's writing style, which was really distracting in my opinion and made it difficult to make a connection with the story and the characters. The idea is original and the topic is important, but unfortunely it wasn't a page-turner for me.

Dolly Nicely done and concise review. 7y
