If I could use one word to describe this book it would be cozy. It feels like such a comfort read, probably because the book is set during the fall/winter. It has those cozy vibes that makes you want to read this while curled up with a blanket and a hot beverage.

A simple romcom in a graphic novel shell. The plotline is quite predictable and cliche. The illustration is quite good. The autumn theme and color pallette gives an aura to the illustrations.

I‘m glad I got to go straight into Any Way the Wind Blows after Wayward Son. I can sort of think of it as one longer adventure. It definitely feels like there are more things going on in the story now!

I‘d give this three and a half stars or so. Great dialogue and fun to see these characters in America for a change of scenery. The adventure itself seemed a bit sluggish, and I started to lose patience with everyone‘s self-doubt and internal struggles. Middle book syndrome, basically.

But! I still enjoy the characters, and I‘m curious about where Rowell will take them in the finale.

It's kinda nasty here in western KY this morning. The weather doesn't really know what it wants to do. But Gandalf knows what these days are all about - snuggling down in a thick blanket while I read the day away. Loving #RainbowRowell 's #carryon ! It just keeps getting better.
