five more chapters than i‘ve read of any book in years. it‘s embarrassing to say as a writer and a voracious reader my whole life that i haven‘t read an entire or even partial book in 2.5 - 3 years. part of it is the ADHD i experience, which i don‘t often talk about on social media — i just can‘t pay attention to a book (even books i love and have read a thousand times, and new books) in the last few years.

I had the pleasure of seeing Martín Espada, one of my absolute favorite poets, with @kgriffith last night. Espada is amazing, such a fantastic writer and reader/performer.
