I've only read a few chapters of Strange the Dreamer, but I'm enjoying it so much. It doesn't really come to a surprise though since Laini Taylor is one of my favorite fantasy authors!

pickYou see that massive book in my hands? Yes, that is indeed Lord of Shadows. However, this shot does not appear to be very realistic since I don't look completely destroyed.
I was a little frustrated with certain characters at times, but Lord of Shadows is amazing as a whole. If you liked The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices, you will love this series!

The Secret History is such an intriguing, unsettling and haunting story. This detailed world is filled with fabulously twisted and amoral characters, which is what makes the story so raw and one of a kind. It's the total opposite of a light read, but it is well worth it.
