3.5/5 stars. I certainly enjoyed this read but I do feel like the magic/action often fell a little flat. I also wish that Kell was more developed. Kell is supposed to be a gifted magician but all of his successes seemed like they were more due to luck than talent. Overall though, it was a quick and entertaining read. I‘m excited for the next two and I‘m hoping for more world-building!

Although this was nearly 1,000 pages, I flew through this. I was super hooked by the first book, the second book was a little slow, but the third one was great. I can‘t wait for the fourth book 😬😬

I am LOVING this book. Isn‘t it the best when you find one of those series that you want to spend every second reading?! Thank goodness there are (currently) two more books to go. ☺️☺️☺️

I was so excited to pick this book up. About half way through and it totally lives up to the hype! Enjoying some coffee and quality reading this morning before work. 🤓

Not my favorite Christie but I enjoyed that it was a serial murder instead of one person like most of her books.
