4.5/5
I was definitely right when I said I found a new author that I loved. I enjoyed this book immensely and would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a mystery with a touch of the supernatural thrown in.
I‘m definitely gonna have to check out more of her works.
A solid 4/5 for this sequel to the Diviners. I enjoyed this book. 🙂
4.5/5.
I absolutely loved this book. I didn‘t know what to expect when I went into it, which is how I enjoy reading my books, but I was pleasantly surprised. I‘ve got her next book, The Book of Cold Cases, on hold at my library so it may be too soon to tell, but I suspect I‘ve found a new favorite author.
2.5-3/5.
I think this was a well written book and there is an audience for it…but that audience was not me.
4/5. Definitely would recommend this book.
I‘d give this book a rating of 3.5/5….I enjoyed it but some of it seemed repetitive.
4 stars! I prefer character driven stories and this is definitely one of the better ones I‘ve read lately. I definitely recommend this one
So, I finished this book a few months ago and never gave my final thoughts on it...overall, a solid book, but there were some things toward the end that were very off putting to me (those who have this probably understand what I‘m talking about). My rating for this would be a solid 4/5, however.
Really, that‘s how we‘re gonna end it? Just when answers are finally starting to happen? That‘s just cold, Maureen Johnson, cold. Solid 4.5/5. Bravo, I liked this one better than the first.
I enjoyed this book...if I was rating it, I would give it a solid 4/5 stars. The only complaint I had was this is a mystery book, but none of the mysteries put forth in the book were solved or they were partially solved and I now have questions upon questions, which isn‘t necessarily a bad thing. Hopefully book 2 will answer some of my questions.
Thank you @wordslinger42 for the book and gift!!! 😀 I definitely will enjoy these as anything Harry Potter related is one of my weaknesses ❤️ and the Lunar Chronicles is a new favorite series of mine and I will enjoy reading Scarlet.
Thank you @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks and @TheBookHippie for hosting #litsylove and #winterswap!
I‘m about a hundred pages in and I‘m enjoying it so far! I wish I had more time to read this but it‘s the holiday season so my life so far is all work and no play...though I did have the time to send out my package yesterday for the #winterswap for #litsylove...onto the next one (or four) hundred pages!
This book was just...fine...not great but not terrible either
I‘ve been reading this book for the last few days now and I‘ve never been more on the fence while reading a book than I have with this one...I guess we‘ll see if my thoughts change as it goes on....
I would give this a solid 4 stars. I enjoyed it.
3.5 to 4 star rating for me. I liked the way it started and ended but the middle was rough for me.
Just started this tonight on Audiobook and I‘m about 18% done. I‘m liking it so far.
Finishing this book, completes my reading of the Lunar Chronicles. I loved this series, I‘d give the whole series a very solid 4.5, and definitely recommend it to people who like YA and fairytale retellings.
Hey everyone! Yes, I‘m still alive, just super busy lately, we‘ve been remodeling our house for the last couple of months, so every spare moment has been spent cleaning...I hope to get some stamps soon so I can send out the letters that I‘ve written, like, months ago. As for this book, I just finished it on audiobook and I loved it! Im always a sucker for Sherlock stories and this one was a solid 4/5. :-)
