I think about this book almost all the time. Gorgeous story, gorgeous art. Brilliant all around! Look at this first page!

Weird, and overly complicated. Retconned the original Avengers origin (cut out the women) and was overall a little boring. Plus the Shulkie/Thor interactions are weird.
My all time favorite comic. As someone who experienced trauma, and then recovered in the city, everything about this book felt like a punch in the chest. I love Jennifer Walters, and this book is more than I could‘ve asked for:
One of the best comics I‘ve read in a long time! Completely plays in horror, and what you‘d expect from the Hulk! An awesome read!
When I got to the conclusion, I was squealing! I love these books!!!!
Broke me out of my reading slump, and absolutely was everything I wanted! I fell in love, and entirely saw myself in Stevie. One of my favorites!
It wasn‘t that anyone forgot about Hayes‘s death—the subject was constantly talked about—it was just something that had happened. It was a part of reality.
Later, I could get that drizzle feeling just about any time I saw a kid on a swing. The hopelessness of it—the forward excitement, the midflight return. The futile belief that the next time around, the next flight forward, you wouldn‘t get dragged back again. You wouldn‘t have to start over, and over.
Best true crime book I‘ve ever read! Beautiful prose and wonderfully crafted!
