...🤢 curious to see where this is headed.
Set during the Summer of the Son of Sam in New York. Loved it! I read it in one sitting.

An in depth portrait geared toward YA readers.
Seems like a good time to start this book....
Interesting look into her life and journey.
Some stories were better than others, but overall great!
I loved Poisoned Apples and I loved this book as well!
You might not think a book about a trans teen is something you need or want to read, but you'd be wrong. Loved it.
"We want to die spectacularly, not just perish."
Started this on a walk this morning and I'm obsessed. I haven't been able to turn it off yet!
I started reading this book knowing nothing about it and, based on the cover, I thought it was a fractured fairy tale. It's not. I guess that's why you're not supposed to judge a book by its cover.... 😂 Liking it so far!
Read this on my cruise and it was super fun. Lots of twists and a good premise.
I wish I understood what people liked about this book....
Started listening to this yesterday. So far so good, but I'm not as impressed as the hype makes me feel like I should be... Julia Whelan is one of my favorite audiobook narrators though so I'm excited to get to her part!
Randomly in Houston for the day when the setting of the book changes to Houston briefly. #bookception
Read a little bit like a college research paper but I enjoyed the overall message.
Talk about hooking the reader from the first line.
Started out strong but lost my interest towards the end.
Didn't love it. There wasn't a single character that I cared what happened to or found interesting. I normally love a good Bildungsroman but this one missed the mark I think.
Amazing! Loved the voice of the main character and, on a nerdy mom note, I loved that the parents were cool and not the lame parent trope.
Listening on audiobook. So far, so good!
Interesting but not riveting.
It was a tough read because of the topic but a great book.
I LOVED this book. Can't wait to read more by Tommy Wallach.
Reading a book that starts in a hotel lobby while sitting in a hotel lobby. #bookception
