Very emotional read. I was able to relate with Zach so much especially because I had a bad childhood with my parents being engaged in their work and they had rarely given much attention to spend time with me. But the story is not about this part, it is about losing someone and dealing with separation.

A homecoming read 😃 amidst festive season.

This was the time in her life that she fell upon books as the only door out of her cell. They became half her world. She sat at the night table, hunched over, reading of the young boy in India who learned to memorize diverse jewels and objects on a tray, tossed from teacher to teacher - those who taught him dialect who taught him memory those who taught him to escape the hypnotic.

I am starting this book today as I begin my journey towards the Hills.

Completed it today. It was a picnic read, with lyrical narrative and breathtaking ending.

Reading this book gives me a feeling of a trip back to my granny's place when each night she used to tell us beautiful stories.
