Joining in #tbrbingo I really should be reading some of these lovelies I bought instead of picking up things at the library.

Pickpick

I love a good crime thriller and when this was on sale a couple weeks ago, I had to get it. I really liked Dugoni's Tracy Crosswhite series and while this wasn't as good as those, I still enjoyed it. Set in the late 80s, this follows a young, male attorney as the protagonist. A bit predictable, but still kept me reading. The antagonist was a misogynistic, racist jerk, who I totally felt would've been a Trump supporter in today's society.

My winter break is proceeding as planned. I did some reading challenge planning this morning and now I'm snuggling with Rory Gilmore and Blanche Devereaux while reading a crime thriller. #dogsoflitsy

Mehso-so

I thoroughly enjoy Dugoni's Tracy Crosswhite series. But, this stand-alone left me wanting. Plotting was fine, but I didn't like these characters as well. The humor felt too slap-stick to me, but I prefer my crime novels more hard boiled.
