Next up in my påskekrim reading: Contemporary Scottish crime. Not sure if these are police procedurals, or more psychological like my previous read. Coincidentally both were recommended by my mother.

This is a great bargain in the U.K. One of my favourite trilogies for 99p for all 3 books!
Would be great reads for #Teamslaughter in #Scarathlon2020
Day 9 - #3Books #ThatMadeMeWantToTravel #LewisTrilogy
This trilogy made me want to travel to the Hebrides off the coast of Scotland.
Day 4 #Top20series #20series20days Peter May - a must. This might even be the best trilogy I have ever read. I could have chosen his other series as well, because he is simply an amazing author! One of his stand alones, Entry Island, is pure perfection! If you are not familiar with Peter May, it‘s about time you start reading his books! ❤️
Day 27 - #PerfectPleasure #NewYearNewYou #TheLewisTrilogy #PeterMay
This trilogy will bring you perfect pleasure!
It‘s a tie!!! Peter May‘s tagged trilogy (yes, I know 3 books, but it‘s like choosing you‘re fave child out of triplets)... Absolutely brilliant author and fabulous books! and the other one is...
Excellent descriptions of the harsh realities of island life and the natural world in these three mysteries. The first was full of suspense and anxiety for the main character and the second kept me turning the pages to find out why the murder happened. The third was the weakest - not consistent with the first - and the dual time line, which worked well in the earlier two books was just confusing here. A pick but only just.
Starting a new book halfway through lunch
Scottish author Peter May is an accomplished writer. He covers Jimmy Perez in the Highlands, Enzo in French Crime challenges and a third series based in China. Brilliant reads all.
