Welcome to Litsy!

Another successful fair in the books (haha)! This one I ran as the official chairwoman. It was a lot of work, but I'm so glad I was able to contribute to my son's school. As a disabled person, I have struggled with reclaiming my identity and figuring out ways I can give back to my community. This feels right. 15 more fairs to run until my son moves up to the middle school!

#endpapers Okay in the world of picture books there are so many amazingly beautiful ones to choose from. The scene at the back of the book is different from the one at the front. I love when the book starts off with this. I feel like I'm getting a bonus! #readjanuary @RealLifeReading

So good! Bruce is back from migrating south for the winter with his adopted goose kids and finds out that mice have taken over his house and they're running a HOTEL out of it! Bruce of course is not a fan of that. Same great illustrations and humor as MOTHER BRUCE. #kidlit #picturebooks #storytime

Found it at work! Will have to buy it later to read to the kiddo, but very cute. Bruce with his grumpy self :)
