I loved this book set in Chicago in the 1950s. The story follows Jordan as she struggles to achieve her dream of becoming a journalist. Renee Rosen is becoming one of my favorite authors.

Late night reading with a side of cat snuggles #readinginbed

It has been so fun reading all the Chicago area locales. The mention of Kiddieland hit me with a huge wave of nostalgia. I may have been born 30 years after the novel takes place but so many of the places mentioned are still around. Well Kiddieland isn't 😞it sadly closed about 8 or 9 years ago. #chicago

A little by of mystery, a little bit romance, and a kick ass female reporter trying to make it in a male dominated office.

I would definitely suggest this story about a young woman trying to break in at a 1950's newspaper. It's got a good main character, clear story lines and a little mystery and romance too��🤓

A great historical fiction novel about journalism and the inequality of being a woman in the 50's.
