Setting the mood.
Except the author is literally doing the opposite by universalizing her experience in a book with broad assertions based on only her experience.
Sorry but life is rarely this black and white. So I have to disagree with this assertion. Only 6 pages in. Thank goodness this is short.
But then what man hasn‘t...found himself deeply disillusioned with the distracted wife, the night alarums and the diaper pail, not to mention the expressive howls and systematic material destruction of the growing child.
Some good points in this book but this is completely anecdotal and overgeneralized, stated as fact without any scientific evidence.
No, none of these are the reasons I don‘t identify with feminism.
