This is my evening read after a long mid winters day of sneezing and tissues! Tucking in with my Vicks, hot water bottle and a good book 📚 night all🤓😴
My Mom loves these books 📚 and snuck this one into my bag for a plane ride home❤️ The story is funny, a good mystery and just makes me want to keep reading! #thanksmom😊😉❤️
I loved it! 3 women meet and forge friendships, romances and a business while living on and off the canal system of England. A great escape and I may look into a canal vacay😉👌🏻💕
Errands always include library 📚 stop!! #ilovethelibrary #goodreads
Getting ready to tuck in with this favorite Christmas ghost story 🎄❤️🎄
Well done, fast and witty. Good weekend reading!!😊👍🏻❤️️
Sad journey through depression and mental illness. Still so very relevant.
I liked it. I generally don't like alternating back and forth in time in novels . Characters and stories usually suffer with one storyline lacking, but here the author keeps it very interesting. NYC in the 50's, career girls at the Barbizon, and a good mystery that brings past and present together very nicely. Well done, good read📚👍🏻🤓
I was bored. Going back and forth in time and character tales didn't help.
The story reminded me a lot of the movie "The Turning Point", with variations. I like the movie much more.
This book was so good! Relevant, smart, funny, a bit of romance. AND for a parent with grown children paying college debt, very relatable!!
War and Peace, meets Downton Abbey?!? Well, sort of. The book is well written if not a little predictable. The secret in which the story revolves is reveled early on, but the journeys that family members take keeps it interesting. As always Mr Fellowes is spot on in period details, so you are transported. Overall, well done and recommended read👍🏻👍🏻😊📚
Went for my book hold and couldn't leave with just the one😏😏 Yeah for books, libraries and weekends📚😃 enjoy everyone!!!
My hold is in at the library! Can't wait til a.m., to pick this up!!❤️😊❤️😊
Such a story. Loved that the author told it from all perspectives. A lot of detail, but never bogged down in it. Felt the pain and happiness and the last chapter...well, pass the tissues. Must read👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️😊
Trying a play away audiobook this weekend! #lovethelibrary
Hhhmmmm.... Not sure. The story was good, but muddled. Took me more then a few chapters to get hooked. I liked the authors writing style of going back and forth in the details of "the barbecue" and developing the characters from there. My favorite chapter is about the old neighbor Harry near the end. Overall, it just seemed very long?

#FaveReadsofAugust. Loved this book to end the month on and also reread Little house and On The Banks of Plum Creek! #impulsereads😊❤️👍🏻👍🏻
Alison Arngrim is hilarious, insightful and inspirational. This book is nicely written and full of great stories about her time on the show and the other cast members. The most compelling stories, however, are probably the ones about Alison's own childhood and family. Truly amazing that she did not become another child actor tragedy. Loved it, love her! Read it❤️😊
Disappointing. The preview reads "telling from her side for the first time." The trouble is, she pretty much just retells entire episodes of the show without adding very much personal detail. It's just VERY dull.
#feelgoodbook #augustphotochallenge the struggles and survival of the Nolan family is obviously one of my favorites... These are all mine❤️ I feel as if I am visiting friends whenever I go back to this story.
Variations on a theme... Little House was out, so I picked up some autobiographies to go along with Long Winter. Not ashamed to admit I am reading the prairie bitch book first!!!!😂😂😂😂❤️
Love this new recipe book. Recipes, stories and photos are all crazmazing !!😊❤️
I have been absent this past week! Trying to get some business/home stuff done before fall gets here! Catching up on reading my subscription mags!!!😊👍🏻 Library for sure this week🤓📚❤️❤️
What am I missing?? I don't want to bail, but I am having a hard time getting attached.😴Think I will revisit in a few days...☺️
I loved the story and the characters. Was about to be let down by the ending, but then realized there's more!! The memory of Lemon! Anyways.. I'm sure some will be disappointed with lack of recipes that may be expected, but I liked the story of the small town and families and friends. Good beach read👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️🤓🤓
#funfridayphoto. First novel with adult content anyways. I think it's still a touchy one on high school reading lists everywhere!
Ali McNamara combines film and written story telling nicely here. If you love rom coms and chick lit, this is for you!
#24in48 I managed to get 10 hours in yesterday and also an early morning walk and some laundry😏 Loving this 9 women 1 dress so far... Good luck readathoners- happy pages📚 #readathon
Exactly!! If you are 50 and over, you must read! So funny, you'll laugh out loud more then once AND notice the scarves and turtle necks at your next ladies night out😂😂
I loved this book. It's like having a chat with a good friend or Mom or sisters. It's funny, charming and relatable. What I will miss and what I won't miss had me laughing and crying. Good read. Thank you Nora!
Nine women one dress and now I feel bad about my neck.
Off to see the cake therapist from Nottinghill with love actually and now I remember nothing you see☺️😏 #24in48 #spinepoetry #readathon.
#FunFridayPhoto These were my favorites from 4-5th grade!!!
