End of September
Skeleton in the closet
Grasps a 'Welcome' sign
Halloween on Ice
Myers, making slow pursuit
Slips with a dull knife
Pennywise outfit
Deluxe - One less a pom-pom
Fear the puppy shark

Their leaves dead and gone
Grim trees sway like skeletons
Dancing in the wind
A scratch at the door—
Just the dead fingers of trees—
Sounds like demon claws
Whispering their grief
Swirling leaves rise on the wind
Flitting by like ghosts
How about some poetry with that Halloween candy? One neighborhood library in Rochester NY has kids write poems about Halloween then staff and volunteers turn the poems into bookmarks. They print up hundreds of them, then package them into bundles that are then given out on Halloween night along with candy!
