I‘m fascinated by space and learning about it, and I feel like a lot of kids, especially girls, shy away from that topic because they think it‘s too hard or not girly, so I would encourage kids to read this.

I think it‘s really important to be able to hand kids books about complex topics and have them discover things themselves. This book allows it to be understood at a child‘s level but also has big ideas in it.

Big pictures, and simple explanations. Brilliant. Really keeping him interested. We made this Rocket yesterday! 😄

I've read this NF book with my son so many times that it's falling apart! This book is packed with facts but they are written simply enough for students of all ages to understand. Fantastic pictures are included on each page and the way the book is organized, you could easily choose specific sections to focus on.
