Finished up Number 5 in my favourite cosy mystery series. Good old Richard Jury back on the case, trudging through heavy snow in the north of England around Christmas Eve, nearly falling in love with wistful women who are nearly falling in love with him. There‘s always a pub with a warm fire and a hearty meal and some local characters like Dickie and Nutter. And the aristocracy being as bitchy as hell. Made me laugh out loud at least twice š¯

Sunraven I might have to try this series ... I used to love cozies but I ran into a bunch of rather ughishly written ones and got tired of sifting. š† 5y

Turns out the mystery I picked up at the library is Christmas-themed (and just check out the library date card)! Richard Jury goes to the downtrodden north of England to solve a mystery the week before Christmas. Snowbound country estates, old churchyards, and pubs full of locals abound, as usual! š²š²š²š²
