Several guests arrive at Chortlesby Manor as part of a murder mystery tour- the theme is "Golden Age Mysteries," just as they are in the books. However, when people start really dying, the guests, actors, and manor house proprietors really have a Golden Age Murder mystery on their hands. But it's the middle of winter and they're snowed in, so no one can leave and the police can't get to them. They'll have to solve the murders themselves.
