Back from the wedding and now I‘m going to try and finish this up before bed #readathon

pickAlways a pick because come on, it‘s Lucas Davenport but i actually found the side story concerning Letty (Lucas‘ adopted daughter) to be more compelling than the main story. Love this series and I‘m going to keep reading them and hopefully, this year will be the year I catch up!
No snow day for me-our lake effect stayed well north of us. So here I am—work to do, excellent books to read on my nook and kindle, and 12,000 words to go on my book. Whatever will I do? Lol
I like Letty. She‘s the perfect daughter for Lucas, adopted or not.
My current reads don‘t really fit the #LitsyPartyofOne theme for MLK weekend but I‘ve for so many different things going I‘m hesitant to start anything else. So I‘m just going to carry on with what I‘ve got started.

Day 10 of #MelodiousMusicals and we have the song No Good Deed from the highly popular and entertaining musical #Wicked.
Quite a difficult choice today, I did think of using Lennie and George from #OfMiceAndMen which like Wicked is about an unusual friendship. Instead I have chosen the Wicked theme and gone for Wicked Prey from the excellent Lucas Davenport Series by John Sandford.
My favourite song would be Defying Gravity.
