Back on the rail trail. They chat, I audiowalk. 4.7 miles today. 1 hr 30 mins of 🎧 BBC radio play of Persuasion

#40miles20hours #litsybitsy #audiowalkers

runswithscissors007 Both my walks had company today! No audio walks for me. I hope my husband couldn‘t sense my slight disappointment that he wanted to join me...😬😬 5y
Cuilin @runswithscissors007 I usually tell my husband what I‘m listening to and if he minds, luckily he always says no, go ahead. 😀😀 5y

Pickpick

This collection of short stories are real events that happened to the author or are told to him by his relatives. From a dog sensing its owner is dying, runs off to intercept the soul that it may join its owners in the afterlife to tales involving young boys watching older Indian brothers get shot by Mexican Nationalists during the Mexican revolution, to a boy uncovering the truth about a bruja. Heavy, but a good read. #24in48

I'm reading this collection of short stories by this Mexican-American author. After each story there are author notes and I came across this. Pretty relevant. #24in48.
