pickI love George Harrison‘s songs. He‘s really romantic. His writing is so good that I wish the book was longer, but at the same time is still felt complete. I found deep tracks that I didn‘t know and liked. He has photos of his notes for his songs with the original writing. I highly reccomend it!
pickThis book is fully responsible for my endless replaying of the song « Crackerbox Palace ». I‘ve also been enjoying George‘s self-titled album. This book stops at 1979 but is still an interesting read.

Just in time for George's birthday, the new Extended Edition of I, Me, Mine arrived today! It's beautiful, you guys!
It doesn't go against my "no buy" year because I used a gift card. ☺
pickNot your typical memoir, "I, Me, Mine" is comprised of some anecdotes and then, for 3/4 of the book, lyrics (handwritten and printed) and brief descriptions of Harrison's songs
If you aren't well-versed on Beatles lore, you might be disappointed. I am, therefore I'm not. ☺I wouldn't mind owning a copy of this book for the lyrics alone. Above is one of my favorite lyrics off an overall favorite album, "All Things Must Pass."

Starting this book this morning. As I turned the page to begin, George waving, my iTunes queued up "Imagine" by John Lennon. I love little syncronicities like this.
Well, my February looks pretty packed. I'm looking forward to finally reading I, Me, Mine, which I will start when I'm done with the Lennon book I'm currently reading.
