“lets paint the little chair pink for susie“
I did like the way it ended where peter decided that it was okay to share with his sister and he asked if they could paint the chair pink

eh I thought this book was okay. I think it would a good book to use with your child when they get a new sibling but I dont see it having much importance in a class room
Awww. I read this one when I was little, and I introduced my kids to it. Peter is relatable and the art is fantastic. Any kid who isn‘t 100% thrilled about sharing with a new sibling will get this.
Peter‘s Chair by Ezra Jack Keats is a realistic fiction storytelling book that would be a great addition to any elementary classroom library. This book serves as a great storytelling book but can also be used as an IR book for students. The story is about a young boy named Peter who now has a new baby sister. He starts to realize that his mom and dad are taking his old stuff and are painting them pink! Peter gets upset and takes his small chair
Peter has a new sibling at home and things are changing. Things that were once his are now going to the baby. What about his favorite chair? This is an excellent fictional book written by Ezra Jack Keats and could be perfect for talking about having new siblings.
