One hundred and forty years ago in Kyoto, with he coming of the American "Black Ships," there arose a warrior who, felling men with his bloodstained blade, gained the name Hitokiri, manslayer! His killer blade helped close the turbulent Bakumatsu era and slashed open the progressive age known as Meiji. Then he vanished, and with the flow of years, became legend. -- VIZ Media

A miraculous second snow day! We got the call for a delay this morning, but an hour later they decided to cancel 🎉 Finally getting around to these two! 📚AND I almost forgot about #LitsyPartyofOne for today!

Pickpick

Your standard action manga. This one is a little different, however as it takes place during the Meiji Restoration, where most books/films in this genre take place during the Edo period. I like the dysfunctional family aspect of this story.

Eeyore is part bookworm. He always is trying to chew library books! Pets while reading are the only cure.
