On our way to the airport, 10 minutes from home, the hubs realized he forgot his work laptop. Sigh. So now we will be 20-30 minutes late to the airport, but at least I had a book in my front seat with me 🤣

Thank you @AmyG for a wonderful #cozyswap package. I can't wait to dig into all the books ! And the chocolate 😄! The coffee is great, I've already had some this morning in the fantastic mug. The tea towels are so cute and I like the smooth ones rather than the loopy so they're perfect. What a great way to start the fall season.

pickQuick, enjoyable mystery read that features a caterer in Colorado. The book has a few recipes interspersed. This is the second book in the series—I‘m not sure why I started with the 2nd book. I think I thought I‘d already read the first. One thing I noticed about this book was how awful and mean everyone around the heroine, except for the male detective, is. A town full of hateful people. Even the teenagers and her child were sullen & rude.

pickBit slow in the beginning, but the last half redeemed it. I hate jumping into a series in the middle but it doesn't matter as much with mysteries. This was cute, I liked it. The recipes looked good too! #cozymystery
