Not bad, a quick read despite its size (the last 90 pages are a bonus story, but it‘s still 381 pages on its own).

A character we met in the previous MMA series, is now a bodyguard. He finds himself drawn into both danger and romance with his new client. Predictable drama and heat ensue.

I felt Leese was inconsistent with his previous appearances, but there was a decent explanation. Nice cameos from prior books. Enjoyable.

Nice steady paced storyline. I like the interesting idea of this series; from MMA fighter to body guard! I always feel the sex appeal I get from Lori Foster‘s books & this is no exception. Great read!

I love Lori Foster novels. This one was so good. I've been waiting for Leese's story and it did not disappoint. Cat has overheard some things that put her on the run and Leese is a bodyguard there to protect her. Loved seeing some old characters. #romantsy #romance

An entertaining romance, with a slightly different alpha hero, an ex-MMA fighter turned bodyguard. I enjoyed the fact the heroine did a decent job of looking after herself, and there were a couple of moments of dialogue that made me laugh. A solid 4⭐s.

Snow day here in the northeastern US, so I am listening to some blues, drinking coffee and reading a recent Lori Foster release. I think some of Foster's books are better than others, but the are always a fun read. I enjoyed the quirky yet charming men and found the meeting of the main characters amusing. Who hides out in a cult? (Yup, that was a teaser.) The photo background is the view from my door today.
