Well, the seasonal depression has reared its ugly head. This year it‘s compounded by the state of my house (disastrously dirty) and the slowness of the kitchen renovation (caused by a horrible plumbing issue). Loved this one! A little bit of intrigue, a strong-willed, spirited heroine who quite enjoys her freedom, and a moody, opiniated and swoony Duke who started the seduction with revenge in mind but eventually succumbs to her.
The first book in a series that already has me curious about the next books. This one definitely has everything that I love in historical romance. #romantsy #historical #madelinehunter
