#music I remember really loving this book!Sad songs can move us like nothing else , there are examples in this book that will remind you of your failed relationships ,general angst,& bad breakups. Some dark humor for added value.#Movember
Townes Van Zandt was asked why his songs were so sad,”Oh, they‘re not all so sad. Some of them are just hopeless. The other ones are sad.”Great Book ! I read it straight through, but since it is set up alphabetically, you could just dip in if you like. In this YouTube/Spotify world, just look them up as you read. Every genre & era is here.As Rob Gordon said in High Fidelity “what came first-the music or the misery?”
#newyearreads #1stbookof2018 This has been on my TBR since I bought it years ago. I have even used it for several Litsy prompts and haven‘t read it yet.One of main resolutions is to read what I already have. All of us have books in the permanent library, but I am drowning in books I mean to read and may not keep.Time to get busy and read these puppies!
That was 2017! I raised my goal to 90.I read long books often, and what brings down my page total are poetry titles and a smattering of graphic novels.Want to get to the many classics I have yet to read.Littens over the arch of the year lead me to many titles I may have missed otherwise. Many thanks to all , and a Happy New Year!🎆🎈🍾
#marchintoreading #thistitleequalsgreatbandname. Emo band lol, geez hate my earlier typo to those who liked it in spite of that😂
