Lacey Flint is living and working on the River Thames. She discovers a body while swimming in the river and is immediately drawn into an investigation. Who are these women and where have they come from? Starts slow but becomes more and more interesting as Lacey unmasks the secrets of the people living on the river. Her relationship with Mark Joesbury is moving forward and Lacey seems happier.👇🏻

EadieB ☝🏻 This is the last book in the series but does not feel like full closure to me. In order to read this series, I suggest starting with Book 1 Now You See Me in order to fully understand the character of Lacey Flint. Since this isn't released and she sent a copy for preordering I decided to drop everything and be completely enthralled with a Lacey Flint short story! Of course the queen messes with you and things are never as they appear, I am left craving more! Why, Sharon Bolton, why?!? She's amazing!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Like many of you, I didn't think I would ever cave to an #ereader but here we are! I still prefer paper but it's nice to travel with an iPad. It also holds all my knitting PDF patterns, so that's a win-win!

Seeing all your posts, however, I might have to cave and get a dedicated #ereader, as my iPad can be a little awkward.

cathysaid @tpixie I may have to try that. My husband has threatened to flush my current phone since it's a 4g (I'm a tad resistant to change 😳) so I would need to get a new one...but I suppose it's time. ⚰ 8y
saresmoore I keep all my crochet patterns on the iPad, too! I love it! I just can't handle the intensity of its backlighting for very long reading. (Also, it's an iPad Pro, which is ginormous.) If you do the phone upgrade, my husband's 6+ is a great size for reading, but kinda huge for texting, just FYI. :) 8y

Another wild ride! This one felt like there was less edge-of-your-seat tension throughout as the other ones in the series but it was still an interesting story and a satisfying mystery (once again, the resolution completely surprised me). I'm hoping this isn't the last book featuring these characters because I'm kind of attached now.

[DELETED] 2232195534 I hope so too! I'm not ready to let go of Lacey and Joesbury! The water thing was interesting in this one. Never thought about anyone swimming in the Thames. Ick! 8y
mllemay @kaysreadinglife yeah, the swimming in the Thames is pretty off-putting but I really liked the mermaid theme in this one. Thessa was a really endearing character I found and I was so glad that she wasn't the murderer!! 8y
