This book started off with some scary suspense. Both MCs have to then deal with a lot of trauma and their emotions are all over.

I loved how there was the romance and steam, but also a thoughtful look at how mental health has to be a priority for a healthy relationship. A really good book, both MCs are awesome and the sex is on fire!

Not my usual romance genre but people had been telling me to read Rebekah Weatherspoon for a while. I‘ll probably never be a fan of 1st person POV in my romance, but it worked here. This isn‘t a sweet or funny romance. It‘s got two people working through some bad stuff mixed with incredibly hot sexytimes. The only thing I felt didn‘t work was that it seemed like such short time with the two of them together (4 days?) to make the HEA pay off.

Just received this arc in my inbox! Sanctuary is book #2 in the Beards and Bondage series and I have been eagerly awaiting its arrival. I loved the first book in the series. Rebekah Weatherspoon has quickly become one of my favourite romance authors over the past year. So excited to start reading this even though Litsy doesn't have it in its database yet.

Rather interesting read. It had me intrigued after reading "Beards and Bondage" on the front. ?
I liked how it started out, there was exciting intro. Then it eventually went into the typical #racyromance scenes.
"See, barely touched you, barely said a word and you‘re already asking. Begging isn‘t far away." ??
(Okay so maybe the scenes are kind of hot...?)

This doesn't start off like your typical romance novel. The heroine, Claudia, is literally running through the woods for her life as a pair of serial killers chase her down before she meets & is saved by Shepard. This experience bonds the two of them together in unimaginable & steamy ways. This was my intro to Rebekah's work & I really enjoyed it. (Picking up some of her backlist asap!) This book drops tomorrow & it's definitely worth checking.
