This novella is so short, it's odd that it's the end of the Brothers Sinister. Not a bad tale, but I do think this is a case of a novella's length working against it. Still, I enjoyed it, and the series as a whole.

A good ending to a fantastic series. Rose is a great protagonist. Romance novellas sometimes feel rushed to me, but I thought this one worked well.

I'm sad that the series is over but I enjoyed it thoroughly and will certainly revisit it, not to mention Courtney Milan's other work.

This one was great. I wish it had been a novel instead of a novella. I would love to see more of their story.

Another case of a novella being too short for me to get into the characters.

I read this novella last night. It was cute, the hero and heroine both extra likable but really wish this was a full length novel. 95 pages or whatever it was isn't really enough time to get super invested in the relationship.

This final Brothers Sinister novella was sweet and delightfully scientific, what with the heroine's passion for mathematics and astronomy, but it didn't bowl me over like the rest of the series did. With the exception of THE GOVERNESS AFFAIR, I think I prefer Milan at novel length, where she can really dig into her characters.

That said, I cried for Rose and Stephen. Milan always does bring it out of me, even with her slighter books.

My afternoon plans include Courtney Milan's final Brothers Sinister novella and another sample Diet Coke.

Canoed to shore for a new book for #24in48. Stayed up late on the tent with the lantern to finish it. Such a delightful read!

Finished the final book in this series. Standing by my original belief that the series deadly with stone interesting topics--in this case race, in others women's rights--but had a weird balance of historical accuracy and inaccuracy.
