I‘m cheating just a bit for July since I still haven‘t read my pick for June. 😬 I read the tagged book in 2020 and found it a really interesting read. (My husband also gives it a pick!) Since Jackson Browne is on the cover, I‘m going with a song from his most recent album.

We wrapped up our Christmas celebrations today with my side of the family so I‘m a little late sharing my bookish gifts. The books are actually my husband‘s (2 from me), but we share books. ☺️ #Christmasbookhaul

Every summer, I get a craving (which I sometimes succumb to) to get a hippie-loving, barefoot celebrating, good lyrics saying, tattoo. The urge is strong today, especially when I‘ve finally been able to do a little outdoor cactus decorating that makes me think of Southwestern smells and places. And man, is this a book of great music. 🌞🎼🏜🏕🌵

Google maps is a handy app when I'm reading, to look up the place I'm reading about.
