#Movember #day3 #RescueMe This book was on my #TopReadsOf2017 list, it‘s a great thriller about a young girl that was abducted 3yrs ago, but it‘s also about the investigator the family turns to when all hope is near lost. Naomi is known as the Child Finder, she has a talent for locating & rescuing missing children, because she once was one herself. It has a lot of deep & dark emotion in the story, and does it very well.

Cinfhen I bought this book over the summer and I‘m looking forward to reading it 2w
Lizpixie @Cinfhen I hope you enjoy it as much as I did lovely💚👀🧚🏻 2w
Cinfhen I think there is a sequel 2w
Lizpixie @Cinfhen I didn‘t know that! Thanks, I‘ll have to track it down. I‘m kinda on a library only streak at the moment, money has refused to grow on my trees🌳 #moneystootighttomention (edited) 2w

#greatfulreads #day3 #over500pages I read all 910 pages of this Michener monster, and it was worth it😄

Kdgordon88 This is a favorite! Great choice! 2w
ljuliel In my Top Ten ...first 100 pages are a slog, but after that, it‘s terrific. 2w
Lynnsoprano @ljuliel I think that‘s true for most of Michener‘s books. The only one I really wasn‘t crazy about was Alaska. 2w

ljuliel @lynnsoprano The only 2 of his I‘ve read so far are the one mentioned here and Chesapeake. Both very good. I want to tackle TEXAS sometime, but I‘ll have to be in the right mood. I‘ve started it before and it‘s very good. Just wasn‘t a good time to stick with it. (edited) 2w
Blaire I need to read some Michener, I remember both my parents loving his books when I was a child. 2w
quirkyreader This one is on the TBR list. The copy I have is falling apart to due to its age. Time for some rubber bands. 2w
Crazeedi The first Michener I read was this one, in 6th grade, and it was probably 900 pages too 2w

Dracula‘s #coffin is a prized possession to him. Image from the film Nosferatu.

TheReadingMermaid Ooooo 😗 Good one! One of my absolute favorites! Max Schreck is unparalleled in my opinion 🖤🧟‍♀️ 1mo
Bookwomble @TheReadingMermaid Have you seen Willem Dafoe playing Schreck as an actual vampire in the film Shadow of the Vampire? It's a fantastic homage to Nosferatu. 1mo
TheReadingMermaid @Bookwomble YAAAASSS girl!!! I love that movie so much and Willem Dafoe does such a good job!!! He's damn near perfect! 1mo

Kimberlone @Bookwomble I have heard of the movie but have never seen it. I love stories about Hollywood, though, and I bet I would really like it. Do you know if it‘s available anywhere to stream? 1mo
Bookwomble @Kimberlone I can't see it anywhere to stream, but you should be able to pick it up fairly easily on DVD or bluray. I forgot John Malkovich and Eddie Izzard were in it, too. I definitely need to watch this again soon 🧛🏻‍♂️ 1mo
Bookwomble @TheReadingMermaid He is an amazing actor, and really funny and scary in this. Not something just anyone could pull off, I think. 1mo
TheReadingMermaid @Kimberlone it's free to watch on Amazon prime right now!!!! 1mo
TheReadingMermaid @Bookwomble I know and I almost forgot that John Malkovich was in it as well. Not too keen on Eddie Izzard but he does a good job. I guess I just see him as a stand-up comedian more than anything. 1mo
Kimberlone @Bookwomble @TheReadingMermaid awesome, I will definitely watch that sometime this month! (edited) 1mo
Bookwomble @TheReadingMermaid I think it was quite an early acting role for Eddie, so perhaps a little bit clunky? On the other hand, the character he's playing is as thick as a brick! 1mo
Bookwomble @Kimberlone Enjoy 😊🦇⚰🖍 (ok, the last one is the crayon emoji, but it looks a bit like a stake 😀) 1mo

There is no creepier image of a coffin, than the Harry Clarke illustration for Edgar Allen Poe's The Premature Burial.

#ChillingPhotoChallenge #day3 #Coffin This was my 1st Sharon Bolton & it definitely won‘t be my last. 1969:There‘s a serial killer in a small town in Lancashire, burying kids alive in coffins in the local cemetery. DI Lovelady is sent to investigate & eventually arrests carpenter & funeral director, Larry Glass.1999:she returns for his funeral but things happen that make her question if she had the right man. #TeamSlaughter 2points #PointsTotal-20
