#Septembowie #LetsDance I am sure there must be other books for this prompt on my shelves but this is the one I thought of first. It features the attraction and love between a musician and dance hostess and a view of the Italian experience in London in WW2. Maybe there are some red shoes 👠with the red dress on the cover?
Loving this book so far!
Heartbreakingly beautiful. Despite a slow start waiting for the characters to fall in love, by the time they did I was hooked and couldn't put the book down. Especially interesting perspective from Italian immigrants during WWII that isn't often told.
Won this from Goodreads and they sent me two copies! Would anyone like the second? 📚
TBR on deck for May... what are you reading?
Meh, I recognize by now that my tastes run more towards plot driven stories. This one is very much a character driven take and a bit of a family saga as well. It wasn't bad but just wasn't my cup of tea.
"An epic love story featuring an Italian singer and a British dancer, set against the backdrop of war-torn England."
Diving into this one today!
