David Weber is a legend in sci-fi with a cult following complete with their own uniforms and insignia. I didn‘t have any books with me so he signed my phone case :)

I enjoyed this book a lot. Hard science fiction is difficult to find these days.

Thank you for the tag, @Librarybelle 😁
To play along, all you have to do is post a picture of a book cover you love each day for 7 days, no explanation needed. You can also nominate others you think would like participate as well.
Since my book cover today features a cat, of course I had to nominate Litsy‘s very own @Meaw_catlady 😸
It was more technical than I‘m into and Weber loves adjectives even more than I do, but I enjoyed it. Not a great read, but pretty quick.
She looked down at the data chip in her hand. And her eyes were dangerous.
Audio reread 25 years after my first read.

This book is about one of my favorite protagonists. I love Honor.
Finished! It certainly has its faults -- info dumps about military and tech stuff, and the main character being virtually immune to mistakes. I love it anyway, in part because it's military SF written by a dude with a female character who succeeds not by being some kind of exception to her gender, nor because of her gender, but through individual brilliance and hard work. And there is ZERO romance.
Starting the new year with a reread of my sister's favourite book. Maybe this time I'll read the whole series.
When you just can't adult anymore. 🍷 and some David Weber to cure what ails me.
I didn't think I would enjoy this book. It's not my usual genre. I got into this book because my SO was listening to the audio book and it seemed cool. Loved it. Strong female character. Great action. Weber can get a little technical but I have re-read the entire series many times. Awesome series.
