18.75 hours, 5 books finished - I didn‘t hit my reading time goal but it was a great @24in48 #StayHome24in48 Tomorrow it‘s back to trying to keep my library running with my kids underfoot, but this was exactly the escape from existential dread that I needed. 📚

12 hours down for #StayHome24in48 ...not sure I‘m going to make the full 24 hours of reading but I‘ve been trying to kick a cold this week so I‘ve been prioritizing sleep and naps, too. Plus keeping the kids happy while social distancing. Enjoying this cute romance but man it‘s disconcerting reading all the casual social interaction.

pick3.5 hours of reading so far and I finished my first book of the #StayHome24in48 Readathon. A good read on having political discussions- authors have and acknowledge privilege, advocate for listening and nuance. Heads up, they are both religious and reference it but I think it would be readable for a non-religious audience.
Definitely adopting this for not only unsafe drivers but for those I see on social media not taking social distancing seriously. #StayHome24in48

pickI thoroughly enjoyed this one! All the Bastion Club novels have been fun, but I truly loved the characters in this one- especially the brothers and sisters! Also, first book done for #readathon -I‘m at 3.75 hours read, feeling pretty good about it!
It‘s hot as blazes in New Mexico today, so reading a mystery set in a Minnesota blizzard seems like a great way to keep myself cool- and homesick.

My goal for tomorrow is a very modest 4 hrs. I‘m solo parenting two kids, my babysitter is out of town, and I need to get a few projects knocked out for work. Sooooo...that 4 hours feels pretty ambitious. I usually try to go away for @DeweysReadathon but it wasn‘t in the cards this year.
